Sobhi Sbaih

Personal Profile

Son of the village of al-Khadr, in the Bethlehem Governorate, Sobhi Sbaih is a local historian and heritage specialist who dedicates his time and effort to documenting and preserving the region's rich traditions.

He is the director of the al-Khadr Center for Studies and Research and is a fellow of the PRHP.

Baladi: Palestine and Holy Land Studies is a U.S. 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Baladi promotes the study, documentation, preservation and publication of the history and heritage of Palestine and the Holy Land, broadly defined, in all its cultures, religions and peoples.
Baladi supports the scholarly work of students, emergent, and established scholars, partakes in outreach activities and community engagement efforts in Palestine/Israel and the Palestinian Diaspora.
